Facts about TUR

What is TUR?
TUR is Scandinavia's leading fair for the travel, tourism and meeting industries. The annual TUR fairs run for four days at the end March (week 12) at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Göteborg. The Thursday and Friday are devoted to trade visitors, the Saturday and Sunday to the general public. The fair held in 2011 was the 28th TUR event. Some 79 countries and regions were represented at the fair, and all of 44,500 visits were chalked up. TUR is a member of ITTFA (International Tourism Trade Fairs Association).

What is the purpose of TUR?
• TUR shall provide an international meeting place for exhibitors, from all over the world, and visitors, mainly from the Nordic countries.
• TUR shall provide a meeting place for exhibitors to meet trade visitors and the general public.
• TUR shall cover travel, tourism, meetings and any other sectors of the industry.
